Random Crash During MP Gameplay
« on: October 28, 2010, 11:01:33 pm »
This was a random crash I experienced during a multiplayer game--however, I think I'm to blame because I was alt-tabbing quite a lot.

GameCaptureDll.dll caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005)
  in module GameCaptureDll.dll at 0023:09e875c8.
I'd take a sea worm any time over a hundred emotionless spinning carriers.

Googling GameCaptureDll.dll seems to indicate it's one of those search-and-edit-the-memory-of-other-programs utilities, like the venerable cheat-o-matic (wow I used that a lot back in the day).  You  may want to turn that off while playing, if it's showing up in crash error messages :)

OH, then that's probably Livestream trying to attach to the process--that makes sense.

Thanks for the response.
