Exchange Steam Key for CD-Key?

Hello, just purchased the base game via Bundle In A Box and the text file suggested that the CD Key could be obtained by registering the game at arcengames.com using the Steam key or Desura key that was provided with the bundle.

I've gone through the site quite a bit and didn't see a link to register the game here using the Steam or Desura keys.  Am I overlooking a link to register the game on the site or is an email needed to obtain the CD Key?   Thanks!

You don't register it here, just take the key from the CD Keys thing in your steam library for the base game, and plug that into any install of the game (including one downloaded direct from us)

If that doesn't work, let me know.

Hi Keith, just for the record, I don't think that's very clear in the instructions. I downloaded it from the download link on Bundle and it came with a read-me that said this:

For the DRM-free version of the game, all you have to do is register your Steam or Desura key at http://www.arcengames.com/ and it will give you the DRM-free version's CD key.

So that had me, and apparently quixian, and likely others scrounging arcengames.com trying to find where to put in our steam or desura keys.

I put it into Steam and it works for me now, so I don't have an issue, but I just thought I should let you know. I'm glad I found this thread; thanks for your post explaining what to do.

Oh, yea, those instructions sound pretty wrong.  I'm not sure who wrote them.  Sorry about the confusion.
