Sound error crash on start up

i am getting this problem when i start up and it first happened in the middle of a game i was playing with my friend. Also I triend re installing the game still get the error and it now says it is trail

these are there errors
oh and now my sound on my comp doesnt work at all

It sounds like a problem much larger than ai war; it can't mess up the zone on your entire computer, but you could get errors like this if sound on your entire computer is messed up.

My best guess would be that directx 9.0c got messed up and needs to be reinstalled -- we have an installer for that on the prerequisites sticky topic if you like.

If that's not it, then it's probably either a driver got messed up, or actual failing hardware. You probably have some error messages in your windows event log about the error unrelated to ai war -- either a directx problem, or a device failing to start.

got it working i guess i had to restart the comp after reinstalling derect x either way everything worked  :D
