Hey,
Glad you're enjoying the game. I've never heard of that issue before -- we have one other user on the tech support forums reporting a BSOD from the game under different circumstances, but these are the first two instances of BSODs that I've ever heard of in the 5 months the game has been out.
Generally speaking, a BSOD like that is probably either some sort of driver malfunction (video, audio, or network), corrupt software of some sort (one of the prerequisites -- SlimDX, DirectX, .NET 3.5 SP1), a hardware issue, or some sort of windows issue. Given the timing of this, I'd be reluctant to call this a hardware issue. Windows corruption, or a messed-up driver or prerequisite would be my best guesses. I'd suggest starting with the drivers, to make sure that those are all up to date (or in the case of nVidia drivers, potentially that you are not on the 19x.xx versions depending on your hardware, since there are reports all over the place that those may have some bugs for a lot of games).
What version of Windows are you on? I'd also suggest doing any and all windows updates to make sure that it's as up to date as possible, since some of those include bugfixes that are helpful not just for AI War, but in general for stability.
Hope that helps!
