I'm thourogly amazed at that save. I am running a 2.8 Ghz Dual Core and i was getting about 3 frames a second. That fact, and the fact that you can support so many ships in such a large expansive game (on any computer at all), is a testament to your highly performant engine and your master programming skills!
Avid League player and apparently back from the dead!

If we weren't going for your money, you wouldn't have gotten as much value for it!

Thanks RCIX. :)  I was surprised as well, it's amazing to have 200,000 units running on any consumer-level hardware.  And to think that a lot of competing products start dropping frames with just 1,000 to 2,000 units on a midrange PC. ;)

Seriously though, this game does look great!

Seriously though, this game does look great!

Very true.  Onscreen units at one time are certainly vastly harder to do in 3D.  So that's a limiting factor that others have that I do not.  Speaking purely in terms of the simulation, though, there's a pretty big difference there.
