I was stuck in a similar state where the EBlade wasn't able to activate because it needed more energy. It's supposed to be the same behavior for the golems, but as I never play them Moderate, energy is never such a big concern. I stumbled across the issue during DoW beta. I feel this state "ok for metal but need more energy" should be shown with a different or special effect. Maybe the yellow number like when in energy brownout.
