Odd Behaviour in Stand Down

I have a MKIII Spire and a MKII Cloaker travelling together.  When in stand down (K) - to stop the Spire firing - the cloaking of the Spire intermittently is removed and then returns.  Is this normal behaviour?  If not, should I report a bug?

is this only while on a specific planet? some ai planets have tachyon command stations that emit a planet wide tachyon pulse. are you sure you didn't put the cloaker in stand down mode as well? avoiding tachyon guard posts, tachyon microfighters, or anything else in the system that might be emitting a tachyon beam?

LOL... I'm a muppet!  Of course, I had the Cloaker ship stood down as well.  I'm a newbie to the game, but at about 20 hours into my 3rd game  ;)
