Game licence not working

Greetings,

I've just buyed AI War from Steam. For now it is a great game, but I can unlock the main game using the licence Steam provided me. For the purpose, I,m working on a Mac.

I'm guessing you mean that you can't unlock the main game using the license Steam gave you.  Are you able to paste the license key into the box?  Or are you typing it in manually?  Both should work, there's certainly no known issues of keys not working in the game.

I clicked on the Copy to clipboard button, but it doesn't work once the game has launched (I can't right click in the text box and choose Paste, nor using the Paste shortcuts).

Tipping the Steam product key doesn't work either.

Okay, I really don't know what is happenning, but it worked this time. Thanks for the help though.

I'm just guessing here, but it sounds like more text-box weirdness.

I know you are using a hand built window/dialogs/whatever (due to limitations of the API), but are you using the built in text-box control?

Yes.  There's nothing custom or odd about the textbox.  However, it doesn't support right-click context menus from the OS.  But using the keyboard shortcuts from the PS (such as Command + V on OSX) should work.

Usually when something like this happens, it's players having some extra characters or mis-typing it, etc.
