Game seems unplayable with standard Macintosh mouse

As the game stands currently, no amount of remapping keys has allowed me to perform a right click on the de facto Mac mouse.

It may mean that I'm forced to buy a two button mouse, however this seems like a pretty significant oversight, considering all Macs come with the standard one button mouse or track pad.

Would someone please let me know if they have come up with a workaround for using the standard Mac mouse?

As I mentioned in the other thread, we hadn't heard about it until after release   So I'm not sure if it's really what it looks like or some peculiarity of the specific setup.  Can anyone confirm that their one-button mouse does work in this way?

In any event, we can add a keybind for doing the conversion at the app level, we just didn't realize the need for it.

Sorry I posted in the other thread instead of this one but yes I've got a similar problem with the trackpod on a Macbook. Haven't found a workaround for this.

Just for the record, as there are multiple threads on this topic, the 4.0.25 beta update makes the game playable with my trackpad / MacBook Pro.

I'm sorry about the delay here, I had saw this thread, but actually forgot to answer, having another bigger problem with the game...

When I first launched the demo, I encountered the very same problem. The easy way to solve it is only to enable right click on the mouse preferences... (system preferences, mouse, and there activate the right click (couldn't be more precise, my mother language is french, and my mac is in french).

That just solved the problem. No remapping necessary.

It seems (and it's how Unity3D works, I myself toy with that engine for my own personal games I never publish :p) that Unity3D takes the keys, and reroute them through its own procedure, desactivating at the same time the mac os x property of simulating the right click with the command key (i hope this makes sense, that's not easy to explain such a thing in another language than your own :p apologies for that).

So the only way is to enable the right click on the magic mouse, and all problems are then solved, and the game runs smoothly.

If you are encountering the problem, don't remap, just be sure right click is activated ;-)

I'm not having any problems with the Magic Mouse---the one that essentially has a trackpad on top of it. I do have it set to sense a right-click when I tap the right-side.
