Can't get any achievements.

Hi, I have AI:War Fleet Command and the first two expansions on Steam. I cannot get any achievements. I don't just mean I can't get them on Steam--I can't get them at all. I know I have met the conditions for at least a few of them, and yet I am 0% of the way toward completing every achievement. The most obvious one is the one where you get 50,000 energy. I don't have it, and can't get it.

Could this be a bug introduced by the release of the new expansion that only effects games that don't have it?

It shouldn't be a bug related to the new expansion -- plenty of people have achievements without it, and that expansion came out 6 months ago. Have you restarted the game since you first loaded it up? Possibly it is still showing oh as trial mode in the upper left on the main menu, and a restart of the game will fix that if it has happened for some reason.

Otherwise, are you using cheats or a positive handicap for yourself? Achievements don't get unlocked in such games...

Another thing is that your profile name has to match the name of the player in the game to get achievements.  But it should unless you've changed your profile name after starting a game or are playing from someone else's save.

I think I was using a positive handicap. I am not sure. But for whatever reason I got the achievements, although I am still not sure WHEN I got them.
