A defeated AI spawning champions

Are champions "defender" at the AI homeworld supposed to be spawning after the AI in question is defeated ? It respawn every few minutes or so, so basically large amount of defences are needed for that.

Other that that, it spawns at the center of the map, shouldn't it spawn at the galactic exo-wormhole ?

Both AIs stay active until both are destroyed, but I could look at suppressing this particular behavior in this case :)

Might be advantageous especially on snake maps.

It's just strange to have shadow ships patrol the remains of its old master, especially since it's the only thing that actually spawns there. I like TechSY730's idea better though.

Fair point.

Then what should happen to those champions? Just like human players, and AI player can still continue to fight so long as others on its team (in this case, the other AI) are still alive.

You could have then spawn at the other homeworld and join the threat.

Then again, the fact that it hogs the other homeworld is kinda favoring "double strike" too, the point of clearing a homeworld is much foggier if a shadow ship insta-spawns in the system constantly.

Not that I see what the big "double strike" scare is about anyway. An extra shadow ship is not a huge difference considering the amount of ships in a AI homeworld.
