Steam CD-KEY rejected by the base game

Hi,

I have got the game in one of the bundles and just now installed it.
Steam offered a CD-Key to use in-game, but that key doesn't work :-(

I tried both copying it through Steam and Manually to no avail.

What should I do?

Sorry about the inconvenience, we're really not sure why it would reject the key.  Could you PM me with the key you're trying to use so I can test it?

I have rebooted the computer and re-tried - Now it worked! Many thanks :-)
Not sure what was wrong though.
