So i actually got around to buying ZR, and I'm working with the beam frigates for my first game. The things seem fairly awesome, with a side of bbq'ing everything. Of course, bombers help..
Playing against a peacemaker means my usual starship tactics wont work. Its often easier to take the entire planet than to take down the mass drivers with bombers...
The other guy is something pointless and unmemorable.. so uhh.. >.>

Anyway; If youll recall the Von Neumann machines post a while back, I figured that would be completely ludicrous. So I figured I would pick something tamer, the beam frigates.


So I get into the game, get a few planets, and come across a reserve. It claims it will need almost a million energy or something silly like that.. So I ignore it, and blow it up. I get about 70-80 of all the zenith units (except no sentinel frigates? ) Of course, the bomber unit seems to cost 10k energy each, so thats running 700k of my energy away. Lets turn those off.

I sort through them, and come across.. Shredders? Now, what would I do with those  :D

I started with like 70 of them. That was an hour ago.

I have almost 3 thousand now.

Tell me, are any of the other zenith ships this good (and fun?... when they arent raping your CPU doing collision detection and all)

Paralyzers are pretty weak to me, but that's just me. Acid sprayers are an absolute must against other Zenith ships (golems, fleet ships,etc.). Ummmmm is that all of them>
Avid League player and apparently back from the dead!

If we weren't going for your money, you wouldn't have gotten as much value for it!

Paralyzers are like the guys in other games that have lousy attacks but debuff everything so the other members can steamroll.

station paralyzers at wormhole and rest of fleet just away. paralyze everything, and mop up. this works for trains. tired of regen trains romping through, warpin guys away? paralyze and kill it.

Huh, well I actually forgot what expansion units are worthy!  Well, you could try Z Bombards if you have the resource and time; I believe they currently are the most expensive and time-costly bonus ships.
I'd take a sea worm any time over a hundred emotionless spinning carriers.

My problem is that it will only paralyze a small group of unit,s which means even large numbers of these get torn up :(
