they are a swarm ship that specializes in shooting up armored things - i believe, but I'm not sure, they eat up 'armor ships' with ease as well. (fairly high pierce stat)

in the hands of the ai, they either die to a fleet, die to turrets, or absolutely murder forcefields.

Eyebots.

extremely high damage and RoF, x4 bonus against Heavy, shoots through forcefields, won't get wiped before they get to the hybrids because of their cloaking.  Full cap of Mk1 and Mk2 Eyebots (93) can wipe out at least four or five hybrids unsupported.  Probably more like 6.  Something to consider if playing against hybrids in the future.
