What is your favorite beginning bonus ship?

Personally, I enjoy infiltrators as I can quickly get a large amount of ships mixed into my fleet with a really low energy cost.

I've never tried mlrs ships, but previous posts suggested they were inferior to frigates.
Have they been rebalanced recently and why do you like them?

Personally, I find teleport raiders useful -they're weak against most ships other than bombers, but the ability to drop 1700 ships onto a bomber stream anywhere in the galaxy within 30 seconds has saved my bacon a few times!

MLRS were rebalanced not all that long ago, yeah.  As part of 3.120, I think.

Depends if we are talking defense or offense.

On defense, nothing comes close to grenade launchers for me. Z-mirrors come second I suppose, but when you watch a wave of 1600 laser gattlings go from 1600 to 0 within a single interface refresh, that's a good feeling.

On offense, it would have to be Zenith Bombards. I like playing the range game, dreadnaughts are always my first starship unlock and these fit me almost perfectly.

electric shuttles on defence at 1 worm hole chock point. like at the start of the game you can get like 40000% kill to death ratio, with electric shuttles and if ressurrected units dont count as death then it be even more as ussaly after 6.5 sec all ships would be dead. when you get waves of 2000 and more that where they shine if you are prepeared.
AI War - even the smallest units can make all the difference no matter how weak they are still quite capable of taking the hits. if it can Kill and receive damage then it worth its time other wise if it cant kill and cant take the damage for the higher surviving ships then it is worthless.
