Warp jammers ?

does warp jammers in this scenario stop wraps being done to your home planet. as an example you got an planet that has one worm hole entrance. and then you place the jammer on that planet that on that exit worm hole on the other side. will it work and prevent waps being done to the planet and can only be done by CPA? or will it send them on the other side of the jammer and get through + also black hole geny would this help with the jammer? as an excellent combo of death with heavy laser mrk 3? defending black hole machine under all the mark shields and jammer? in early start of  the game? like 2-4hrs in>?>? and would this be an cheaper solution to destroying key area warp gates near the eg Golem? or is it yust an ussless peice of wasted units of credits>? or something well worth it>?
AI War - even the smallest units can make all the difference no matter how weak they are still quite capable of taking the hits. if it can Kill and receive damage then it worth its time other wise if it cant kill and cant take the damage for the higher surviving ships then it is worthless.

Warp jammers only blocks warps to the planet that the warp jammer is one.  Since you can't replace your home command station with a warp jammer command station, you can't ever block warps to your home planet.  But, that should be no problem with proper gate raiding, unless you're playing against a backdoor hacker.

Warp jamming a choke point would and having no other planets exposed would prevent the AI from raiding in the traditional sence. Raids will still occur but they will spawn on an AI planet and attack CPA style.

Yep.  Assuming you gate-raid, though, there is never a reason to use the warp jammer -- unless you can't gate-raid, such as at the center of a spokes map hub, for instance.  It's a useful tool to have in the arsenal, but only a tiny percentage of the time, I find.  But you're absolutely right on how that would work.

great for "disposable planets" and as you said, planets with too many wormholes, but then using that to lure all your raids in and use it as a headquarters is awesome, just build all your awesome things on it (omd, ion cannon, super fortress)

Don't you think using a disposable planet to lure in waves is better than a planet near your home command station?

well good idea as if they system some how fails? then you have something to fall back on. and also it be good as an system to be used that only when set up, to be near planets that are far away from your home planet so if it does then you got time to reset up.

well what i might of been thinking is that you got your full fleet waiting at the system. so you know it failing so you send them to attack or defende home base if the fleet if it can. else if you have or think it wont be able to do so then why not. send it like 4-8 hops away and defend it heavly. after you know the Ai wont decide to destroy you home station then yes send it away but if you need the defences close to home EG CPA and thus they have to destroy the black hole geny and thus meeting the toughest resistance from your planet as it key it is defended as it cant be re used. as i seen about 100 bombers takes out 1 M FF G MRk 1-2
but could the  BH geny be defended or used any other way then it be awosme >:D

but keep your fleet near home planet when cpa is going to occur
