A useful strat for ye who are pro

Dealing with Special Forces Captains

  • Identifiy the planet(s) that sees the greatest amount of Special Forces Traffic
  • Capture Adjacent planets
  • Do not Destroy any Special Forces Gaurdposts in these systems
  • Instead, deploy large turret balls of spider turrets - 40+ - gaurded by a few beam turrets. Given the mega range of Spider turrets, build them as far away from the wormholes as possible to prevent them being directly attacked
  • All the Special Forces ships traveling through the galaxy will eventually come to planet buzzkill and lose their engines, becoming harmless
  • The AI will mega-reinforce alerted planets as ever. normally a threat, but in this case, the AI pours reinforcements onto the planet that become instantly free, fly towards the distant turret ball, and lose their engines
  • When a planet is saturated with 1000+ ships, pull out your leech starships and fly up and down the immobilised lines hitting everything. keep a MRS handy to heal up damaged leech ships as needed
  • when your happy with your leeching, fly in the big old ball of your fleet and take down everything. harvest 1000+ ships, heal them up and your good to go.
  • Repeat. Increase size of turret ball as AIP increases. Win!

#2 way: Riot Plus Leech Plus Backup but of course, long range sniping is the way to go. How about you neuter the planet and camp with leeches and all at their command station and guard posts?

i clap too, but you can't build way too far right? (or is it distance with mobile builder?) too bad the ship cap is so low compared to 1000 ships. awesome if a lot of cores though
