An autokiting armored golem can't shoot a fortress, also. It's already up on mantis. I think it has to do with the measurement for the auto kiting range using a different center for the model than the measurement for the weapon range, but that's an uneducated guess. Makes sense, though, for a big unit trying to shoot another big unit. It's the little bugs like that that cause me to keep turning it off. In general I do like it, but I always find something fiddly about it that gives me trouble.
