selecting ships

is there a way to select only low power mode ships?

it is really annoying to sort through a big fleet  to turn on half my ships.

You can select them all, then just hit K to turn on any ones that are not already on.

I wanted to know if there was a way to select only the ones that are low power so that i can turn on only half of the ones that are low powered.

if i turn on all of them i don't have enough energy

If you double click a low power mode one, it might only select other low power mode ones, and then you could L, K, and be good. I'm not sure if being low power counts as a separate type for double clicking purposes, like Mk level does.

if i double click it selects both low and normal power ones.
it seems like sometimes even when i press play on the bottom left part of the screen it does not turn on all of them (i had way more than enough energy)

I'm not sure if it's what you're looking for, but if you look at the icons at the bottom of the screen, the last to the right lists all the ships in Low-power,and lets you select any of them.

the button on the bottom right does not let you select more than one of them at a time though.  It would take too long to do that for every ship i want powered on. especially if the ai was attacking me.

Dbl clicking selects both the low and high power ships so that does not work

Hotkeys, and where you put the ships. If the ships are on the front line and mixed in with other ships. They are usualy already on my hotkey's. So I can just select the whole group to go from low to full power mode quickly. And its only these groups that will go into low power mode. Except for my rear guard, Somtimes I will have ships back a bit out of combat on a different planet. (maybe a lowertech group, or a high energy group). but basicaly all the planets ships will be in lower power mode, so its easy as selecting all the ships on the planet and putting them into full power mode if needed.

You just gota watch how your managing your fleet, make it easy on yourself. If your going to put them into low power mode, put whole groups, or whole ship types into low power mode, not just a couple. This way they dont get all mixed up. Organization.
