Probably a stupid question. Sorry! I'm REAL new!

So...  I've looked through the manual, and searched the wiki, but seem to be missing something...

How do I scrap a ship?  I had some auto-build options on, and due to cramped quarters, the auto-build spread out some immobile structures too much.  Other than just hoping the AI destroys them so I can rebuild, how can I destroy it myself?  Thanks in advance for any help!

By the way, this game is totally awesome!  I'm talking some friends into buying it, to get some massive multiplayer fights going on.

Yeah this should probably be on the wiki somewhere eh? Anyone remember right now what the resource return is? 10% for most things, right? I'll go make a page so next time someone searches for 'scrap' it actually returns something.

How much is it again for Ion-Cannons?
And are there more high-value building(units?) that return less than an already small 10%?

I know I have seen somewhere that there are things that don't return full value, but I have no reference I can cite. Let us hope Keith or Chris happens by and feels like sharing.

Yea, it's 10% percent for most things, .1% for VERY expensive items (such as Ion cannons and maybe a few other things). This was to prevent players from capturing high level ion cannons and scrapping them for insta-full economy. You can still get good amounts from scrapping a Mk. IV or Mk. V, but not enough to fill up your cap anymore.
