ShowDown Device Win.

After a pretty cool game (7/7) in which I captured 55/80 planets I think I decided to end the game by means of the showdown device, AIP was at 1052, so it was about time and I had never done this.

Everything went OK as I won but for some reason I lost the supply to my home world when it was hit by something.

Anyone have an idea what that was? and how I could avoid this?

You didn't have the Beachhead plot turned on by any chance, did you?  That'll cut supply to a planet if one spawns on it.

IIRC, the central command station that comes after you has a MkII deathnuke effect: it nuke the planet where it is and all the planets adjacent. Did one of the fearsome command station died one hop to your home?

I think that is it. Thank you. I  retreated all my forces one hop from my home world. To take the final stand.... I see that is a mistake now.

I will try it again... I should have had the power to stop it way before that.
