Multiplayer resource sharing

According to the wiki, the following is true:
"If a player hits the resource storage cap for metal or crystal (600k), then the excess resources flow to allies instead of just being wasted. "

My question to you guys is....  Is there any way to tell in game how many resources are being shared, and to which players?

If so, it would be in the Economy section of the Stats screens (click the scores box).  But, I don't recall coding anything like that in, so I don't think it's there.  If I recall, it gives the overflow evenly to all allied players unless one or more of them are also at cap...

It would be cool to have some sort of display, and maybe a toggle so that it shares based on how many resources of that type each person has.  So someone that has > 100,000 and positive flow wouldn't get much if there was someone with < 100,000 and negative flow.  And have it so you could change it in game between the two methods.  So maybe people leave it at normal even, and then if someone gets hammered or something you can hit the toggle, and once everything is back to normal, change the setting back too.

But that's extra super complex, and not really needed.  But being able to see how much you are overflowing would be cool, or how much you are receiving from people.

This hasn't been a super high priority, because generally I you are overflowing you should be adjusting something. Attacking more, giving some harvesters to allies, stocking up on mercenaries, etc. This overflow thing is just meant as a minor safety valve convenience for when you hit your cap while doing something else, which is why it's not more robust; there are far more effective ways to balance team income.
