Hello, and thank you for taking the time to hopefully answer my questions. (and I have alot)
The first I guess, is what the limits are to the cloaker starship hiding, and can it actually hide itself in that, or is more like the sc (starcraft) arbiter in hiding under it? From that, I want to ask, if the ship cloaks defenses?
The reason I ask, is that I'm learning about how beneficial deep raiding is. (i think its called that) (Something that would cost me games, and does now and then) Normally, i go in with the cloak planes as my starter choice (Always, over any other type, not the raiders, but the really low health ones with monstrous attack, the electric shuttle fodder ones.) Since the leech starships are good at punching holes in defenses, I was curious if i could park one at the gate, take in engineers, and build mines and use this to keep a hidden force to pull back to hit 2-4 jump targets id have no chance to best otherwise early on.
Now then, What is a good mine field array to use? on the defensive for baiting an attack force with a strike on a command center with? Should I put emp mines near the first, or leave that to the area for the avoidance vessels. to trigger when they go to the outer areas? (I havent experimented much, but ask those that invest heavily in those)
The final one, is how do I prevent raid starships from hitting deep in my own territory, slow them down, or manage to keep them from causing problems if i cant hit them easy.
