Turn based strategy games are just too slow for my liking

but again , the abusation of the Pause Function doesn't mean you have to pause every second
(wait , ain't we getting off-topic with the Pause Function? but i guess the OP's Question has been answered)
I tend to pause once when I send ships through a wormhole to assess the situation. I give the ships their orders and see what happens. Then I do minor corrections on the fly and only pause again if something terrible happens. Every single ship being killed by lightning turrets and shuttles would be an example of this. Stupid @&!!#*$ electricity !!!

if thier is an warhead intercepter you can easly defeate the defence by simply 1. use the awsome power of TBS frendily pause then detonate it when it get out worm hole.
2. bind it to 1 then scrap.
or you could make it attack move.  last i checked you are able to do that dn if it been changed or works for emps give it an try hope this helps
AI War - even the smallest units can make all the difference no matter how weak they are still quite capable of taking the hits. if it can Kill and receive damage then it worth its time other wise if it cant kill and cant take the damage for the higher surviving ships then it is worthless.
