Cloaker Starship Use and Manufactories

Hi, I want to use a couple of Cloaker Starships to send along with a few Raid starships to take out a key target. The problem is that I can't select them both at the same time, is there a way to be able to select the cloakers and raid ships? Also, I disabled the automatic control over my manufactories because I needed more crystal but what I wanted to know if there was an easy way to turn on/off all of the manufactories across the galaxy?

Sadly, there is not currently a way of giving all ships of a certain type throughout the galaxy to turn off. There is a way to do it for each planet, and an easy way to find out which planets have a certain ship type.

Anyways, you can force the selection rectangle to select both military and non-military ships by holding down control while you do it. If you are going to try to use this technique (which is a pretty clever one I gotta say), make sure you either load them into transports or take out the tachyon guardians near the wormhole first.

If you hold Ctrl, you can select both at the same time.

To manually turn on/off manufactories from any planet you are on, you can open the quick-button list for them at the bottom of the screen, and then hold Shift while clicking them.  This also works for reactors, incidentally, so that you can manage all your reactors and/or manufactories from any point in the galaxy.

Yea, you'll find that these guys are very involved with the community and are very open about their development. They are even willing to divulge very advanced game mechanics, sometimes even posting snippets of the actual code to help explain things. There isn't much more they can do to be more open short of going open-source. :D (they stated that may happen at some point, just not in the foreseeable future)

That's awesome techsy. One more question, on the map I'm playing, there is a broken Golem on the Dyson sphere planet. Is there a way to capture that Golem without annoying the Dyson sphere?

You can't capture without annoying the dyson sphere, but you can annoy it just briefly.  Best way is to capture the plane for just a second or two, then scrap your command station.  You'll need to provide supply from an adjacent planet, but you can get the golem that way.
