tiger answered my other questions about Mirrors on Steam, but I had a new one.

I'm thinking of using Military Command posts and counter missile turrets to bait large forces to attack a fleet of Zenith Mirrors at my defense hub (possibly even a mobile repair):

Will attack boost affect the reflected portion of a Mirror's damage?
Enemy attack boost will increase the dealt damage and therefor the reflected damage, but I'm unsure if your own attack boost will amplify the dark matter shots even further... to the point where if both you and the AI have attack boost the mirrors become a unique threat.

I don't think munitions boosting the mirror will increase the power of the reflected shots, just the mirror's own guns :)

Do attack boosts stack (munitions booster+flagship+military cs)? If not does only the highest boost work? If yes can MarkI Flagship boost the same ship with MarkIV Munitions Booster? Flagship's boost would be wasted.

No.

Yes.

No, the "pick what to boost" logic skips stuff already boosted, iirc.  It might actually be that high boosts replace the lower boosts and the lower boost goes to another unit on the next frame, I don't recall off the top of my head.  Either way, no wasted boosts in that sense.

What's the logic for which ships get the attack boost if you have more than the max number of ships nearby? First come first serve? Highest DPS? Highest DPS benefit from buff?

It evaluates ships in the order it finds them in the allied ships list, so basically first-come-first-served :)

And fyi, it's not really a max number of ships to boost, it counts the boosted ship's "area" (rough indicator of size) against how much it can boost, so many more fighters than Spire Stealth Battleships can be boosted, for example.

Any way of moving ships to the top of the list? I would dearly like to have that bonus on my Heavy Beam Cannon MkIV at all times  :)

Ships that have been on the planet longer will be earlier on the list, so turrets tend to be prioritized :)

Aren't most turrets limited to +20% attack boost?

Turrets have a limit of +100%, Starships have +20%.

I guess the trick is to build my strongest turrets first rather than last when I am setting up my Maginot Line.

So attack boosts do not have a limit of how many people can be getting it? Like, outside of range at least.

There's a max range it can boost from, and a max total "area" of actual ships that one booster can boost (which is proportional to that max range, actually).

In general, if the boosting is really important in a situation, saturate the area with boost :)

Okay, so the limit isn't like capped as in the stat, but capped as in "We've crammed too many people on the bus to get them out again." is the cap on public transportation.

I had a thought about Attack boost...

Some units have very low attack speeds (Missile Frigates).  Is there any SmartBoost or something where your attack boosters will know to boost slower firing units in range when their time is about to come up? (since it would have a greater effect)

I do this manually, but I didn't know if it was automatic or not.

Indeed, but sometimes you need to split your munitions boosters and want to just how many it takes.

Munitions boosters are seriously awesome, so ridiculously versatile and powerful even without a single point of knowledge spent.

Does the number of boosts scale with ship caps btw?

No, it looks like it's static. Otherwise a single unit could boost nearly an infinite number of ships by instantly redirecting themselves to new ones every frame.
