Any way to increase the audio notifications in the game?
« on: May 07, 2014, 04:33:00 pm »
I will often not notice things that are serious until its too late. For example ill be deep into some battle and the AI attacks my home sector. It would be great if there was some audio que that was very very noticeable. Another thing is the new wave audio que, it should be way more annoying and loud so you don't miss that as well.

You can set a warning using the ctrls panel, while on your HW, hit the Ctrls button in the lower left hand corner, Select the Planet Tab, and Look at the warning levels you can set. I'm not sure that it makes noises (I play with game sounds very low) But it will give you an alert in the same window in which waves are announced.

I just tried that. It did alert but not sound effect. Sadly i often miss things being put up there when I'm focused on something like an attack.
Ok so I went into the sounds folder and renamed Buzz and HomeHit to temp files and then copied AlarmPost to those names and I can now tell the alert sound from the background sounds ;)
