Well...I like it when things go hard and fast. Ahem. With blitz, they go fast alright, but it really doesn't feel very juicy.

Ach, I just hate these slugfests in which everything sits around and plinks the enemy HPs away at a snail's pace - shoot hit kill is how it feels better to me.
The beatings shall continue
until morale improves!

Personally I like those "slugfests" as a eve player I call it blob madness or NC blob ;)

Anyways waves of 1000 are not that hard to handle with a fortress and some turrets. The tractor beam turrets are your friends if you can micromanage the ranges of your ships properly. If it gets bigger there is only 1 answer if you have spire ships active its the Spire Martyr, can destroy 5k ships at once if you use 3-4 at once even at MK IV. Thats the ship that currently holds my defensive lines together without me loosing too much mobile units.

otherwise probably EMP missiles
