Erm, considering that Dreadnoughts have a 0.2 damage multiplier to raid starships, I don't know if they would really be that effective.  It's likely all the other ships in your fleet that take care of them Dazio.

And raid starships are immune to the effects of black hole machines, so while it would keep all the other ships that arrived with them locked up, the raid starships would be able to fly to the next system without any problems.

My bad, you're right, I remember racing Raids through Black-Hole systems before. (a long time ago)

Still, Raids attacking that system never chose to leave. They'd nick the command center and then start shooting nearby turrets and shields. They never shot at any of the nearby shield boosters or inhibitors or the Black-Hole Generator itself. I think I was playing against AI 7's if it makes a difference.

Logistics command posts vs. Raid Starships.  Your ships get +50 move speed at mk1, theirs get -1/2 their move speed, so even your Space Tanks will be outpacing their Raid Starships.

Yup, since the addition of Logistics Outposts I've been finding raid starships much easier to deal with, as these are my default "frontier" control posts.

I've always been using gravity turrets for my default protection against raid starships.
I place them so when they start to slow down they are in range of my laser turrets

I've been using MKIII command station for the uncloaker.

Yep I second the use of grav turrets against the enemy raid starships.  They've stopped dead the starship commanders and speed racers that we've had to deal with in various games.
