Black Widow Golem reclamation

I just found a Black Widow Golem and saw that it has reclamation. Does anyone know if it reclaims any ship it hits, or only those it kills?

(midgame's going really well. This may be my first win.)

all ships are going to be reclaimed if it has been attacked even once by anything that reclaims.

In other news, I'm a dumbass. It's IMMUNE to reclamation. I'll crawl back in my hole now.
