Let's Play a Game

Hello, this thread is mostly to gauge how active the community is before I jump into this game. Total Biscuit recommended it in his weekly Steam Sale video, but he also said that it was much better in co-op.

I'd like to know if there are any groups out there who would like a member who has no idea what he's doing, and if there are no such groups then I'd like to form one. The Angry Joe Army has a mumble server which is open to the public for any legal activity which such a group could use during the games.

The main reason why I want this sort of group is because in every 4X game, I always maximize the map size and add as many players as it will allow me to. My current gaming networks don't show much interest in the group, and I'd like to see the cooperative part of this game.

If this thread doesn't get many (or any) replies by Monday the 30th of October, I'm probably going to pass this game up. I have more than enough 4X space games to play in single player already.

Not saying its the most populous place, but you'd at least get a good list of people who have the game and be able to message them

Conir, just so you're aware I'm an American. Your Steam page says you live in Germany, and the time difference may be too large to compensate for unless you happen to be an insomniac.
