doesn't matter if you're new to the game or experienced, I'm up for anything. My steam name is zoutzakje, but be sure to post something here before adding me, as I ignore invites from people I don't know (got to many random friend invites from people trading cards and all that nonsense).
I'd prefer not to host but I suppose I can if needed. Don't know if I can port forward, so I'd probably have to use Hamachi.
I don't have any specific available hours, it varies day by day. However I generally have a lot of free time.
Let me know what kind of games you like to play and maybe we can kill some Terminators =)

Hey, look me up on steam (Lethargic Chii). I just got the game for Christmas from my father in Arizona, haven't seen the old guy in years; miss him. He's still playing these kinds of games at age 50! (He introduced me to them when I was like 10; we would play Dark Reign and Starcraft over our LAN) I'm glad he did though, this game is unique and I'm decent at RTS and Strategy games.

I played a few solo games, but, would get 3-5 hours in and then want to restart because I think I made it too easy or too hard. I set up a solo game using Kahuna's guide (Which I also read top to bottom) and it seems good so far. I got the game for another long time friend of mine and he got it for his wife, and then another of my friends got it too. So if you want, we could even get a 5 player game going one of these days. For now I could just do with a 2 player game with someone who's a bit more experienced then I am.

My problem is I keep wanting to take everything in sight and then the AI just crushes me with waves ;-;. Not very nice. Me and that long time friend, Mr. GaSp, (Yes, stylized like that and don't forget it lol) are currently playing on a snake map with Kahuna's guide settings. We decided to make it a challenge to take all the systems all the way to the end. We found the shards and now we are like 13 planets deep and keeping back huge waves (This is with Ultra Low Unit cap) and the threat was like 6k at one point in time. We went in and struck it hard using our Regen Golem we found but, it still is at like 3k. We are worried to say the least lol. We have the capital now, and the AI did NOT like that at all.

Sorry for the wall of text, I haven't been on any forums in years. Hope to see you around! o/

I'd be willing to play as well. But instead of hamachi use Evolve as it is far more safe and actually secured as compared to Hamachi. This is my steam name and I used to play this game when it first came out at a friends house.

Another AI War multiplayer trainwreck?  My last group broke apart partly because my skill level was well beyond both of my partner's.

Worth a shot, I guess.  alexheartnet on Steam

hard to find players to co-op with in this game, which is why I generally prefer solo. But playing with others can be fun once in a while. I don't recommend playing with more than 1 or 2 partners though, considering how hard it is to get everybody online at the same time. It's generally better/easier to play multiple games with a few different people than to play 1 game with a lot of people.
I got lethargics friend invite and I invited heartnet. Didn't invite Khan though since there are so many Khans on steam, I have no idea who to invite.
Just hit me up on steam and we'll talk about the settings we usually like to play with, how we play it, etc and then we can start up a game. Like I said, I'm up for pretty much anything. I got all expansions but I don't mind turning a few off if you guys don't have all of them.

  • Bottlenecks are life. Literally.
If you are still looking for partners, I'm game most days (This week will be rough, but after that, I'll be good)

My time varies, but mainly between 9AM-> (Pretty much the entire day as long as something doesn't come up) -> 3AM EST.

I have 220+ hours under my belt, and two wins at 5-5 and 6-6 (In that order, we don't count my 1-1 trial game which was a disaster and a half). I have all expansions, and I frequently (ab)use the Fallen spire as my saviors and destroyer gods. I am a bottlenecker/defensive player, so I *May* make some not-so-good late-game choices, but overall, I know most of my stuff.

Hit me up on Steam if you're interested, Captain Taz. It should have this as the avatar; http://demeritas.deviantart.com/art/Dark-and-Debonair-534559483

My skype is CaptainTaz. (Note the period) as well. I like to use that as a main form of communication, but steam voice chat, Gamevox and teamspeak 3 are also options.

I can host too if need-be, my PC isn't top-of-the-line, but she can run a game pretty well on low unit caps. (Stupid CPU using only one core D: )

Just that guy who hides behind walls of death hoping that they stay up.
