Congratulations! :)  A successful homeworld assault requires doing a lot of things right.

Interesting on the midgame being more of the bog-down than the end-game.  Well, I hope the warp relay idea works out as a reasonable challenge-replacement for the counterattack posts.

Though we aren't targeting especially short campaign times, either.  8 hours on the low end (to maybe 12 or 13 on the high end, not counting people who play the kind of scenarios that take 25 to 50 nowadays) is kind of what I target.

Just getting rid of counterattack posts would have sped this up to under 15 hours, probably. I'm not sure I would have seen any warp relays, since I wasn't playing chokepoint, and threat was always below 500. It might have done something about my trisecting the galaxy. I really expected that to cause more problems than it did.
