AAR 7/7 Randoms, Screenshot heavy
« on: June 27, 2013, 04:30:32 am »
First game solo, always played coop before

Clusters: Microcosm - like this map type
Seed: 11232500
80 Planets
Ships: Complex
Game options: Normal, full fog, hide map
AI: 7/7 Double Random All non-tech/random moderate easier
Zenith Trader
Dyson 2/10
Golems&Botnet Moderate
Spirecraft moderate
Reveal Random AI
3 champs
Avenger on both AIs
And random starting planet

Go!

...

Well i guess i am lucky, zenith bombards are pretty powerful, also having nebula on starting planet is good.
I do usual setup building a few docks and other basic structures and scouting, one champ gets MRLS, second champ lasers and third champ MRLS+Needlers.

Then scouts get information of nearby planets, guess what.

Vengeful! Guess Random AI Generator don't likes me. Other scout sends me better news.

Can't recall what camouflaged does, but it's probably related to Zenith Camouflage ships.
Looking around one of the planets i notice.

Radar Jammer mk1 and... shield bearers, well zenith bombards should be able to deal with that, as well as champs.
I drop a couple of additional forcefields onto homeworld station in case Vengeful AI gets too !!Fun!! with his mini exos, and some sniper towers in backyard as well.

Champs go cleaning up Ashdorar while base builds some starting fleet.
They cap it easily. Further scouting reveals a Co-Processor

Might get useful later on, as for now i need to deal with that wave that AI decided to send, bulletproof fighters? At least they are not champion-proof :P
Researching mini forts and gravity turrets up to mk3, i like gravity turrets, so...
Wave shows up while my defenses are being built... and runs into my champions.

Wave gets horribly murdered and they decide to retreat, but not so fast :P
By the way i dunno why all forcefields are suddenly became black. I send champions for other non-vengeful planet, lustoothchu, what a name.
Then while capping it i notice some ships AI got.

Spire maws, can't recall how dangerous they are but i guess i'll keep an eye(and champions) on them.
Also AI decides that wave of normal fighters would do better than bulletproof.
I send my fleet defending lustoothchu while station and defenses are building, and in meanwhile my champs are waiting for the wave.

Wave arrives and gets promptly annihilated, i notice that random micro parasite decided to join the party as well.
Further scouting reveals parasite eye on Sikejo, owned by Mr. Vengeful Miner and that he has Saboteurs and Sniper guardians.
I decide to do nebula because why not.

Epsilon Eridani, this is going to be mostly easy. I defend the bottom fort from purpleness while allies murder the top one. Then we team up on another fort.

In meanwhile i order some neinzul starships to be built, always nice to have them. Then while i defend the bottom fort, which is almost dead, allies destroy another enemy fort. Then i rush bottom fort with a few ally ships. Then another fort goes down.

In meanwhile i order some more starships so my resources don't stack up too much. Then during the attack on large fort, my champs get heavily damaged because it suddenly decides to spay them with missiles.

That champ with almost non-existent hp dies in a second, but good thing respawn is right there, others manage to retreat, AI decides to declare a wave, but shortly we destroy the big fort and the modules i get...

Are actually not that bad, finally chance to try out heavy beam, i upgrade champ forcefields, MRLS and Laser to mk2 and install a couple of heavy beams mk2. I send fleet to deal with wave and then champions to help them.

...

Then as wave gets annihilated game decides to crash on me with 'Too many heaps' or something, ARGH  >:( , that's another good thing about multiplayer that it's possible to return to where crashed, and it's not possible in singleplayer. Meh, autosave load time, i hope that module rewards don't change...

Comments and suggestions are welcome, especially on fixing that crash, it's not the first time i experience it.

Aw no replies, oh well.

Either way AI War decided to eat my save so i had to redo stuff from one near the start of the game, in progress of which it crashes again but after that it goes on smoothly. It all goes mostly similar as well, the only differences being waves and they weren't dangerous anyway.
Then i went to do nebula and this time managed to do it without losing any forts, got same modules too! :D
As i exited the nebula the zenith trader decides to visit my homeworld.

I buy zenith generator, i would have bought super fortress too but not enough energy at the moment...
Time for some scouting.

Moatva reveals one of secondary CSGs, an AI eye, distribution node and an Ion Mk4, not bad, Lumir don't has much useful stuff besides spirecraft stuff.
I start cleaning up Novel with champs and that triggers mini exos... which decide to shortcut to my homeworld through Novel which still has my champs. Well done AI.

Killing the station triggers another mini exo, which decides to go through lustoothchu and Novel again, champs take care of Novel while fleet with ally ships defends lustoothchu, AI has spire starship and random tractor gaurdian in there but nothing else major. Then angered by the loss of his precious mini exos AI declares a wave.

While waiting for it i build station and my usual defenses on Nomel as well as getting some K from it. Soon wave arrives and...

...crashes into my champs. They decide to retreat while i order to build some stuff and now they chill out on Lumir.

AI declares another wave while i do some scouting, deciding to try scout starships. But they are apparently less useful than i thought they would be.

They reveal regen golem on Fenship, not bad. I unlock mk2 scouts and mk2 zenith bombards, scouts for scouting since starships failed and bombards for their power obviously.

Wave crashes into my champs and scouts reveal some useful stuff on Etcuip making it next target after Moatva, stuff like Ion, Secondary CSG and MK5 Zenith Medic fab, which i hope is actually useful. Shloha has a couple more of ions(So many Ions!) and zenith cache mk4.
Then my champs start cleaning up Moatva, including an arachnid post that's there, which really is not much of a problem with the right forcefield placing. It might be a good idea to make it pierce shadow forcefields to encourage fleet usage. After station is down this happens:

I am not sure how did i missed that alarm post but whatever, a bunch of ships arrive at Moatva to say hi to my champs, including interestingly large amount of spire maws. Champs respond with their version of hi and AI fleet dies. I place a station and call some science ships, oh right ion cannon can shoot at science ships, once station finishes i order my usual defense setup as well as replacement for science ships. Then i pop the CSG with my champs...

Which apparently triggers quite an exo of like 500+ ships which i only notice after they appear on homeworld, even though CSG owner was not Vengeful? I guess killing CSG made some CSG buildings die on other planets some of which were owned by Vengeful. Either way the wave is easily defeated with the help of Gravi Turrets mk3.

While i rebuild my fleet and stuff scouts reveal some more interesting stuff, Black Widow golem, Armored Golem, Botnet Golem, Dyson Sphere, Sentry Eye, Advanced Factory, Another Secondary CSG and Nebula. All quite fairly near my current location! I go ahead and unlock Econ MK2 station for some additional resources.
I start attacking Etcuip with my champs and first AI Nemesis champ decides to greet them. Then after they are done, i send them to destroy nearby missile post that decides to pop forcefield of one of my champs. That triggers some mini exos, which are easily defeated by my fleet and defenses. Then more mini exos arrive after killing the laser post.

Lone allied ship tries to stop them, interestingly they prefer going straight to homeworld while ignoring about everything else, AI decides to announce the wave while on it. Bomber wave? That's going to be little bit more fun. Zenith starship tries it's best to go against gravity turret mk3, but fails and gets destroyed.

Bomber wave arrives and makes me spam some forcefields, they are really good at breaking them, and while i was busy doing that some enemy champs decide to attack Nomel. They manage to destroy some of my defenses, but gravity turrets hold them long enough for my champs to arrive, yay for mk3 gravity turrets! :)
After dealing with them i send champs back to attack Etcuip... and AI declares a wave, i order them to pop counterattack guard post and go back.

Fleet bombards mini exo into oblivion and my champs deal with the wave, the frigates decide to retreat through half of the planet for some reason but my champs don't let them.

Then champs attack arachnid post, though this time i manage to mess up shields, so one of champs is temporarily shieldless. Mini exos go through nearly every system where i have defenses and ignore defenses as well as random ally with MRLS, they get to their target rather nearly dead.

Champs pop barracks and start destroying spawned AI ships, have to use some forcefields here, also i notice that bulletproof fighters are apparently immune to human champ's main attack which makes them be destroyed slower, oh well, i will get better champ ships soon. Then that counterattack post wave finally arrives from the edge of the system and gets mostly murdered by snipers and bombards, a few ships escape to Nomel but decide to attack the station here, mini forts and a few allies say no to that. Then i send champs to kill the station and it's forcefield on Etcuip.

Part of the exo decides that stations along the way are there not just to look at them while mindlessly going at homeworld, champs tell them that it would be better to just look at them, and the rest of the exo gets bombarded into oblivion once again.

I start capping Etcuip, which gets AI's attention as he sends a champ to deal with it. My champs ninja him and forcefield the station before he can do anything and then destroy him. Soon my station goes up and i unlock forcefield mk2 and fortress, first for now, second for later, i start setting up some defenses.

That's all for now. Comments and suggestions are welcome as always!

As i exited the nebula the zenith trader decides to visit my homeworld.

I buy zenith generator, i would have bought super fortress too but not enough energy at the moment...

Superfortress usually isn't worth buying early into a game anyway, it's so expensive that it crashes an economy at this point in the game.

Killing a non-A CSG causes them all to die at once, so it probably hit both AIs.

That's a lot of nice stuff! One thing is that if you don't have them, harvester upgrades are really nice. I pefer them over econ station upgrades, as I only use econ stations in out of the way places (anywhere busier is using either military or logistical).

Bulletproof fighters are immune to shell ammo, yeah. :)

Yeah they are, but i can always pause them to finish later, who knows when trader will visit homeworld again.

So i just loaded save and i am immediately greeted with a wave announcement of whole 15 ships, on AIP 115? What's going on. Then random AI 60ish threat leaks into Nomel only to be destroyed by defenses and random ally MRLS ship, random zombie guardian sulks in the corner not sure what to do.

Then wave spawns and gets absolutely annihilated by my champs and nebula fleet, i did built it but just kinda forgot about it till now, haha. In meanwhile Nomel gets attacked by two enemy champs, i figured the wave was just a distraction. Gravity turrets do their job and soon my champs arrive and enemy champs get perished.

Another wave gets announced, i unlock zenith bombards mk3 because i will be getting that advanced factory soonish and because they are awesome. I also start building Core Zenith Medics... which apparently have better stats than my flagships, plus repair beam, not bad!

Wave hits but champions are already here waiting for it, so it isn't surviving for long, though this wave was just a distraction as well since while i am dealing with it more champs attack Nomel... My champs deal with them and once they leave through wormhole even more champs attack Nomel, why it is so important for AI i have no clue. Either way, more AI champs destroyed. I am about to attack that advanced factory planet but then i realize that i haven't scouted planets near it, i make some scouts and send them.

Railcannon subcommander, A-Group CSG, ARS and Core Bulletproof Fighter Fab. This is pretty good, guess AI is not only one be getting those bulletproof fighters after all.

More scouting reveals planet with secondary CSG and Spire Corvette Fab.

And more scouting reveals Dire Lair of all things.... Guess i will not be capping that Advanced Factory as soon as i thought.

A bit more scouting with spare scouts from Dire Lair planet reveals another secondary CSG, Needler Turret Fab and... a data center! I immediately send raid ships to deal with it. On the way they get confused by those AI Translocator ships but eventually one manages to reach Data Center.

Two shots = -20 AIP, hehe. Ofcourse i completely forget what AI i am dealing with and shortly i find random AI ships on Etcuip as well as not so random mini exos on Nomel, with enclave guardian out of everything, Nebula fleet deals with first, champs deal with second. Some mini exos travel through iustoothchu while running over MRLS ally ship, which somehow survives.

Ashdorar also gets attacked, so i move champs here, then AI sends one more attack on Etcuip, Nebula ships deal with that, then more stuff including two champs attack Nomel, i move my fleet here. Wheeee, that was quite an attack, some AI ships retreat and start chilling out on Shloha. In meanwhile, my Zenith Power Gen finishes building, so yay. I order ship rebuilding and send my champs to nebula on Banoor.

Dyson nebula? Yes please. I change all secondary modules on my champs to mk2/mk1 lasers and start shielding the ally fleet while killing some dysons.

All goes well for the most part, allies beaming gatlings into oblivion as well as my laser spam, though eventually two of my champs have to retreat for forcefield repairs since gatlings start getting a bit too aggressive. Soon third champ has to retreat as well and everyone is already low on placeable shields, eh. AI also declares wave of... Zenith hydras, apparently AI has them too.

In meanwhile two enemy champs decide to attack Nomel once again but this time they manage to break through, since i react way too late with my nebula fleet and one of them got slicer drones, which just kill my station through forcefield...

Not much of ally fleet left, i try to shield as much as i can but dysons overpower them, time to retreat to fort.

At the same time in the galaxy Zenith hydras arrive, we can never have too much flame wave projectiles on one screen. My fleet deals with them and apparently manages to even reclaim a couple, huh, good to know that they are reclaimable.

More and more dysons attack the fort, which is only barely scratched so far thanks to my forcefields. AI announces the wave of Saboteurs. Soon the flow of dysons starts ending, oh well, was fun while it lasted.

Destroyers unlocked, spire ship unlocked, fortress unlocked, rail cannon unlocked, polarizer unlocked. Not bad. I turn my champions into Human Destroyers, one gets mk3 MRLS, mk3 shield and mk2 heavy beam(placeholder till i get some other modules), another gets mk3 lasers and mk3 shields, and third one gets mk3 railcannons, mk3 heavy beams and mk3 shields. Yays. Then i immediately send them to fight the AI wave and they just go ahead and erase it from existence, destroyers ftw.

Then i send them to clean up the threat on Shloha while building the ships from second nebula. After that, i get crazy idea, i look at Dire Lair then at my champs. You can guess what i am going to attempt.

Yup, that's right, attacking Dire Lair, not going to touch guard posts tho, don't need additional exos, but special forces(i think those are SF) decide to arrive and scratch the shields of my champs. I also send nebula fleet in once they finish building.

Red corner, Three Destroyer-class Champions and their fleet of fans, versus, blue corner, Dire Lair preparing three random Dire Guardians!

Who will win?

Ready?

3...

2...

1...

Fight!

Two laser dires and one widow, i spam a few forcefields and they immediately break a couple of them so get to spam more, i focus everyone on one of laser dires.

Eventually one of them gets down, as well as probably more than a half of my forcefields.

Second one goes down as well. Also that poor AI fighter that got into the fight between two forces by accident. Poor poor fighter. I am out of the forcefields, widow gets them down and kills a few spire ships.

And then it dies.

K.O.

And the winner is...

Three Champions with their fleet of fans! :D

To celebrate the victory i decide to put a fort on homeworld. And then whole SQUAD of champions decides to assault Etquip, ofcourse my champs quickly get there and destroy them. Oh right, there's still CSG on Etquip that i left for a while, why not to pop it right now?

As i do so, exo of about 1k of AI ships spawns, huh, they mostly go through Nomel, but some attack through Iustoothchu. My champs deal with random attacks here and here while fleet defends homeworld from main attack, nebula ships defend the rest of the planets but not much AI ships go here this time.

I lose most of my fleet of starting ships, but zenith bombards along with fortress and champs defeat the wave. Some random AI champions decide to attack Nomel again and ofcourse fail to do so. I notice a pair of cloaked enemy ships shown as attack on Iustoothchu, which shortly retreat, i dunno what kind of ships they were but they done absolutely nothing. Enemy champs finally decide to change target and attack Iustoothchu, my champs tell them that they are really bad as choosing targets. I decide to do some more scouting.

Noticing a couple of turret controllers, armor inhibitor and an Threatening eye. My nebula fleet destroys yet another champ attacking Nomul. Then my champs annihilate that missile frigate wave.

That's all for now. Comments and suggestions are welcome as always! :)

So i just open save game and... i am immediately greeted by wave announcement again. AI, how you time it like that? Also cloaked ships? Might be those which i seen attacking but not actually seen before, at least i can figure out their type. I build a couple of scout starships, let's forget that i said before that they are pointless. In meanwhile enemy champs attack Iustoothchu as well, i send my champs in, deal with them and then leave my scout starships near wormhole. I also get scout mk3 researched for later.

Vampire claws, not sure how powerful they are on AI side but my champions along with scout starship decloaking deal with them easily.

I go attack Banoor(finally) with my champs, there's not much to destroy, though special forces decide to visit at the same time as i pop the barracks along with an neinzul champ. Quite big amount of special forces too, but my champs do just fine.

Eventually i cap it and then put a fort, also yay advanced factory, and since i did unlocked mk3s i now have the access to the ultimate mk4 scout. :)
I send him to roam around right part of the galaxy then i set engies to repair the black widow golem.

I find a few fabricators, then a few systems away i find a data center protected by a sub-commander that likes disassembling posts and tractor posts as well as putting a bunch spire shields right over wormhole. Then more scouting reveals more fabs and controllers.

And another data center, protected by dire lair and also curse golem here, hmmm.

Mbtoor reveals CSG A and an ARS, and also i notice enemy champs piling up on Tisi.

Golem is repaired, yay! I send it to homeworld.

Then some scouting reveals second Co-Processor, fairly near too. While scouting away i send my champs to deal with enemy champs piling up on Tisi.

And my champs get horribly murdered, not because of enemy champs but more because of railcannon station and implosion guard posts, both of which were eating through forcefields like through a paper.

AI announces a wave and sends some threat fleet onto Banoor, fortress and my champs leave it threatless.

Attempt #2, champions keep shooting the bottom forcefield and ignoring my orders to attack the station... what's going on. I move them little bit up to deal with champs then they die again, well, at least most of enemy champs are gone.

AI declares another wave and shortly the first wave arrives, my fleet and champions annihilate it.

Third attempt attacking Tisi and finally my champs target the station properly.

I get them out of implosion post range to kill some special forces that have arrived, or normal forces, w/e, then wave arrives and my fleet deals with it. Tisi's clear. It angers AI and he declares 660 ship CPA.

Then raid ships down one of the data centers while my champs clear some threat. Then i realize that i forgot about scout and i move it a few systems through, finding advanced starship constructor, in meanwhile my raid starships fail to reach data center on Enande because of random missile post.

My scout finds Vengeful's homeworld, it has two of those new core implosion posts, neinzul spawner and an CPA post. At least it is not core raid engine, haha. Then he finds another black widow golem near other core world. Also i start making mk4 zenith bombards since i have way too much resources.

AI champs pile up on Tisi again, so i pile up my champs here as well, in meanwhile CPA gets released. ~300 or so arrive at Iustoothchu.

Then my black widow arrives, tractors them into turret fire and murders them, some manage to retreat, mostly tractor immune spire maws. I make an mercenary neinzul enclave to use up my maxed resources. I send my raid starships to get data center but they get murdered by tractor guard post like at the last second.

Then my champions clear some threat, especially that carrier from CPA. That's alot of bombers. AI declares yet another missile frigate wave, he really does likes his missile frigates.

Scout finds a couple more of dire lairs and then that famous rude gesture sub commander. His planet don't has useful stuff on though.

Champions face the wave, champions annihilate the wave, AI declares another wave. The circle of life.

Data center finally destroyed, yay. Oh right, mini exos. They arrive along with the wave.

And get annihilated by fleet and champions. Scout continues scouting and finds more CSGs.

ARS on Tisi has the choice between two neinzul younglings and minipods, i'll go with default fireflies.

Scout finds an raid engine and an data center, in meanwhile i cap Tisi and build some defenses. I also build up those bulletproof fighters from fabricator as well as fireflies. Then scout finds captive human settlement of all things, aren't those are supposed to be entrenched homeworlder only? Then there's another regen golem and...

Another data center! Pretty close to my homeworld too.

It gets raided and vengeful sends massive ship after me, spire implosion, which falls apart as soon as it enters my homeworld. Then as exo gets defeated i go around the map and mark things:

Legend:
P1 = Zenith Golem/Reserve/Generator
P2 = Turret Controller
P3 = Fabricator
P4 = Unexplored Nebula
P5 = Data Center
P6 = Co-Processor
P7 = Secondary CSG
P8 = Dire lair
P9 = Primary CSG

Some systems include more than one thing so i can show only highest one and each Primary CSG system has an ARS.

Fabricators and controllers include but not limited to: Microparasite, MK5 railcluster, Sniper turret mk5, Youngling Firefly MK5, MRLS mk5, Flagship MK5, Human Raid Starship MK5, Speed booster.

That's enough for today i suppose.

Just as i load the save random champion squad starts attacking Tisi.

Then my champions start attacking that squad. They don't stand for long.

AI declares a wave of Zenith hydras while my champs cleaning the threat. "Traders are currently visiting Pocerev", YES!

Now only to build it, might take a while. AI Declares another wave of cloaked ships.

And my scout is surprised to find a data center under nine thousand forcefields, good thing raid starship shots are forcefield immune anyways. Youngling Weasel fab is here too.

Champions deal with the wave and i send my raid starships to deal with data center. They run into a problem known as gravity command center... and a missile guard post, well then. Cloaking ship wave arrives too, but my scout starships and champs deal with the vampire claws. I put a forcefield over building superfort, just in case

I pop an CSG that i left alone till now on Banoor, it triggers some mini exos, but my defenses hold them off as well as fleet. Then champs pop primary CSG on Tisi, and since it's owner is not Vengeful AI, no exos.
Scout finds a co-processor, an artillery golem and another co-processor... so found all four of them, might raid them at some point i guess.

Then he finds superterminal protected by mk3 fort, huh, and also zenith polarizer fab. I start planning on liberating the Dyson Sphere.

Firstly, taking Fenship so it actually gets linked to my systems. AI welcomes me with a bunch of champs and one of the smallest carriers ever. Then special forces arrive as well and after taking them out i pop barracks and clean the system. I feel like i forgetting about something.

Oh right, mini exos, some of them just die on my defenses/fleet, some get taken out by champs after cleaning Fenship.

And as i cap the system AI announces yet another missile frigate wave, go figure.

In meanwhile AI champions do their version of dyson gatling mission, i go ahead and interrupt them. In rage they try to attack Fenship. Then AI declares another cloaked wave.

Then missile frigate wave arrives and black widow noms them. Then champs + scout starships combo deals with vampire claw wave.

Yay, dyson gatlings!

I send raid starships to destroy data center near that one raid engine, they do it but end up triggering raid engine in the process, oh well, wave doesn't looks strong anyways...

...Tisi and Fenship gets attacked with squads of AI champions, can Raid engine spawn champs or those are just normal ones?

And slicers nuke station along with random squad of vampire claws, champs prevent them from getting any further though, then i have to quickly move them to Tisi since random bomber/shield bearer squad is getting through defenses here. Scout starships detect the rest of vampire claws and champs laser them into oblivion.
At this point i remember that Asor is near dyson sphere system, and that it is set to alert now, and that it has a dire lair, which is also protected by a fort. I send champions and nebula fleet in.

They literally get fort halfway down with the first volley together, then special forces arrive and get a handful of holes in them from spire beams, they have really crazy range. Wait...

AI is powering translocator eye? Where? Wait what. Ok i apparently didn't noticed it. My champions with nebula fleet quickly sprint through the system while destroying all guard posts and getting sprayed with a handful of rail beams. They finish it by taking out counterattack post and AI eye with it. Lost some nebula ships but they are quickly replaced, i send the rest to nearest planet to be repaired too.

Scout finds another AI homeworld, Teuthida, booster, radar jammer mk2 and two implosion posts, nothing else is too special.

Back at dire lair, AI declares the wave of missile frigates and i get my fleet ready for the rematch with our lovely dire friends.

Ready?

3...

2...

1...

One raider and two gravity, i place four forcefields and they immediately get broken, i place four more and focus everyone on raider since gravity have one shot attacks with rather long reload.

Raider is out, now for the gravity ones...

They don't last for too long.

K.O.

At the same time scout finds a data center, an eye bot fab and AI decides to declare another missile frigate wave, we can never have too many missile frigates and there totally should be an missile frigate AI that only uses missile frigates, missile lover, totally. Scout finds grenade launcher fab, spider turret controller and another artillery golem. AI Champions attack Nomel and get destroyed by my champions that just returned.

Black widow takes some missile frigates into her lair while champions annihilate another missile frigate wave. Scout finds another data center, quite close to my territory, and later flak turret controller and spire archive. Counter attack post wave arrives.

GO NEINZUL! They literally get swarmed to death before they can reach anything, i did set one my my docks to auto produce and FRD fireflies so it's like neinzul Guard post now, hehe. Random threat fleet and champion attack Nomel but then they get swarmed by gatlings. I send raid starships to one of data centers but OMD and translocator command station knocks them out, literally, they get center's hp halfway down though.

I check on nearby nebula and it's apparently one with neinzul and prisons, cool. I immediately pop one to speed it up.

Second batch of raid starships gets it down, yays. It does triggers some exos but they all run either into my fleet or gatlings.

Champions continue dealing with nebula stuff, 2-3 enemy squads at time. Nebula fort gets slightly scratched.

I get too hasty with prison destruction and one of groups manage to do a bit of damage to fort, but other than that everything goes well. Neinzul destroyer, fort and insanity inducer unlocked! :)

Shortly raid starships take apart yet another data center, then dysons along with my defenses take apart the following exo. AI declares saboteur wave, haven't seen that for a while, then i build new neinzul ships.

Nebula fleet just got bigger. Then champions completely obliterate that saboteur wave.

Yay for full map.

Edit: Uh, some images don't load for some reason, weird...
Edit 2: And spoiler tags aren't working here... great... :-[
Edit 3: Fix'd :)

I load game, greeted with a wave yet again, usual times on AI War.

I unlock Spider Turret, since i ran out of sniper turrets apparently.

In meanwhile my champs are attacking Lumir, not much of interest here but it would connect to Primary CSG Planet later on, so i decide cap it.

Black Widow takes out the wave, it shall not pass. Champs finish cleaning up Lumir.

As defenses on Lumir get finished champs attack Nabaner, to take out CSG.

That ofcourse causes vengeful to send some mini exos and some AI Champs decide to join the fun. I have to return my champs a couple of times to help defenses and dysons to take stuff out.

Then i finally pop barracks and station... uh, since when stations did pop up mini exos from themselves on death?

Dysons and neinzul take care of the rest of mini exos, they are really not dangerous anymore.  :P

I place station on Nabaner and ARS decides to storm it with all it's power, it even summons vampire claws somehow!
It unlocks, Neinzul Scapegoat? I realize that i forgot to check unlocks but oh well, yay for more neinzul~
I also unlock needler mk2 turrets because apparently ran out of mk1's.

AI declares a couple of waves, i build temporary space dock to get scouts quickly on nearest planets, also my champs take out nearby tachion guardians, you'll see why in a bit.

Soon waves arrive, returned champs take care of one, nebula fleet of another. I build a cloaker starship...

...and use it to send raid starships to that one uberdefended data center while on stand down and they successfully take it out. Guard posts nuke them in a few seconds after though.

That's not an exo from data center, it was not vengeful, but an exo from CSG, mk4 siege tower ignored my champs for some reason.

In meanwhile AI champs harass Nabaner and eventually random slicer breaks through, killing station and downing poor ion cannon to 32% HP, my champs take them out just in time though. I order engi to repair it. My champs go to next nebula, on the way accidentally killing random vengeful posts. Some exos arrive but gatlings take care of them.

Hmmm, three way battle nebula, good, time to unlock some zenith stuff!

Champs destroy the first waves and then start steamrolling spire forts into oblivion.

I feel like nebulas need more buff on structures with multiple champs or something.

In meanwhile neinzuls scratch allied fort a bit, my champs take care of it and...

...steamroll over neinzul forts, they really need buff on multiple champs, either way, yay unlocks, most importantly, Monoliths! My favorite nebula ships.

AI declares a bomber wave for a change, then while black widow dealing with them, fighter wave. I build zenith nebula fleet ships.

My champs and dysons hunt AI champs, wave arrives to be netted by black widow, AI declares small CPA. My champs then get ready for the next nebula on Orjo, while cleaning non-vengeful guard posts on the way.

Colony ship madness nebula, means i'll get more Monoliths!

We can never ever have too many colony ships. My champs knock down a couple of forts while hordes of colony ships assault everything and almost break my forcefields, nice to see that this nebula is buffed with three champs.

Colony ships nuke a couple of allied forts, suicide bomber-style, and i start working on taking down the rest of enemy forts.

And they go down eventually, yay cruisers and slicer bays, nice unlocks.

I convert my MRLS champ to Zenith hull and give him slicer bays, others use same weapons they used before, just upped to proper mk4 level. :P
Also unlocking mk2 of harvesters because i have a bit too much K and because why not.

Allied ships that come from nebula go a bit crazy and start murdering vengeful AI's guard posts, obviously that triggers exos. Then AI sends CPA as well.

Champs, Black Widow and nebula fleet defend the planets from exos easily.

Then Tisi station gets attacked by random vampire claws, but defenses take care of that.

And nebula fleet gets rid of random AI champ fleet. Then my champs attack threat fleet and remains of CPA. AI declares yet another wave. While on it champs 'scrap' pointless AI guard posts since planet owner is non-vengeful AI.

Then black widow carries wave into it's deathbed.

Time for another nebula, 3vs2, should not take too long. AI declares hydra wave and my champs manage to blow up some random post on the way though, but gatlings demonstrate to exo what is the overkill.

My champs obliterate one side's forts before hydra wave even arrives...

Speaking of which, black widow was on the watch.

And second fort base gets obliterated as well.

Unlocks are meh though, with exception of nebula fleets because Monoliths~

Ally ships destroy more vengeful guard posts, causing more waves.

Including more random spirecraft, either way defenses easily take care of them.

P3 = Fabricator/Advanced Starship Constructor
P4 = Unexplored Nebula
P5 = Data Center
P6 = Co-Processor
P7 = Secondary CSG
P8 = Dire lair
P9 = Primary CSG

Some systems include more than one thing so i can show only highest one and each Primary CSG system has an ARS. Also ignore random P9 over Nabaner, i forgot to remove it.

Comments and suggestions are welcome as always, note though i already have progressed somewhat further, which i'll post probably tomorrow or later today. :)

As i load the game, Tisi gets attacked by champs, nebula fleet goes to investigate.

After dealing with AI champs, i send nebula fleet to join up with my champs on the way to cap superterminal planet, it has fab and it's nicely right on the way to the next nebula.

I decide to kill some guard posts, barracks and stuff since planet is not vengeful AI's, in meanwhile random threat fleets attempt to attack Nabaner but fail to deal with it's defenses.

Oh right, one more thing to do before capping, taking care of this dire lair, have to kill a few vengeful guard posts though first in range of lair, which causes exos, but gatlings and black widow destroy them as well as that wave.

Without much preparations, dire lair goes down, laser and widow guardians spawn but they are simply outnumbered now and die rather quickly. AI declares another fighter wave.

Now time for superterminal capping, it's protected by mk3 fort and a bunch of vengeful guard posts, also bunch of mk5 ships spawn from strategic reserve and promptly suicide into my champ/nebula fleet. Champs start wrecking guard posts, which causes some exos to pop up, black widow and dysons stay on guard and take care of them. Apparently black widow can't attack bulletproof fighters, oh well, she can move them towards dysons or defenses using tractor beams. :P

Then it's time to take out the fort, champ/nebula fleet takes out good chunk of it's hp with first volley, then it goes down shortly along with station. Exos ensue but get turned into space dust by dysons, also spider turrets actually manage to stun some ships on the way, haha.

I send colony ship in transport, transport apparently dies one system away but colony ship manages to get rest of the way to the place by itself. I choose military station because i am getting good amount of resources already and this planet would need better defense due to being off ways. Also because of superterminal.

As it finished, zombie ships start spawning and champs ohko them. I place some basic defense, suddenly ships decide to spawn on the edge instead and game randomly informs me that "Energy" couldn't be rebuilt due to hitting cap? Since when there was energy cap and since when energy could have been rebuilt.  :o
I am apparently out of mk1 forcefields. I unlock mk3 forcefield, scrap two mk1 forcefields that i left on homeworld in the beginning and place mk3 here, then i place freed up mk1 to cover the ion cannon. Then place nebula fleet near station, just in case zombies get out of hand.

In meanwhile AI champs decide to attack, but gatlings tell them to go away by destroying them completely.

Hacking continues and zombie waves get a bit stronger, i place tachion drone(for once it's useful somewhat) to help champs to deal with vampire claws, enemies that manage to escape from champs get destroyed by defenses and ion cannon. Also AI declares a wave of... armor ships apparently, didn't noticed he had those. Soon i hit the AIP Floor and have to destroy superterminal, that was good reduction though. But now, coprocessor reduction is the last one left. Right, killing superterminal spawned an exo as well, go dysons!

And armor ships don't have a chance against black widow. I send nebula fleet back to main planet cluster and they arrive just in time to completely annihilate random AI champ.

I notice random ebonite asteroid and decide to check it with mining ship. Oh nice, it can make mk4 implosion amongst other things, so i go ahead and do so. Then champs escort it to main planet cluster, it takes some damage on the way somehow though, probably something forcefield piercing that i don't know of. AI declares a wave of... 11 spire maws... seriously, did killing superterminal damaged AI literally or something, this is 7/7, not 1/1.  ::)

More AI champs attack to be destroyed by my defenses and dysons, then i send my champs back to Michchu to annihilate the wave. Then i send them to nebula that i was aiming for, on nearby coprocessor planet.

...
Well, that's what i expected the least, but we should be fine, i unlock impulse reaction cannons mk4 on my zenith, should help with DPS, and quickly equip them.

Ravenous shadows murder enclaves quickly while my champs attempt to down their hugetastic hp, allied fleet helps and soon one of shadows is down to half of hp.

They start moving towards forts sooner than i expect, but at the cost of two forts my champs together with allied fleet destroy one of them. Second one moves towards third fort.

And even though i drop a bunch of forcefields, he destroys it eventually, then it comes to main fort, on the way shadow loses hp up to half and then i start dropping more forcefields.

Soon shadow, besieged by three champs, an army of allies and numerous slicers, gives up and dies. I get flak module(meh) and Shadow Munitions Intensifier(Interesting) as well as whole one level on my champs.

Superfort is done, yay! Allies decide that vengeful guard posts should be DESTROYED ASAP, thus causing some exos.

Defenses, gatlings and black widow hold them off, then my champs arrive and clean stuff up.

I notice that a couple of enclaves managed to survive in ravenous shadow massacre mission. That's pretty badass for them. I use up some of resources i am getting to build another fort. Then suddenly random vampire claws attack Lumir along with AI champ, defenses and my champs take care of them.

And nebula fleet gets some reinforcements. That's all for now.

Technically, using the superterminal did damage the AI. That's the idea. :)
