A co op game with "GOrDon"
« on: August 05, 2011, 05:36:10 pm »

Lobby: Art has Zenith Autobombs, GOrDon has Shield Bearers. 80 planets, no AI
Plots, a load of game options.

After 50 hardcore minutes, GOrDon took our first planet.

GOrDon freed the Dyson Sphere from the AI.

After 2 restarts on my fault...

3 hours in, the mighty Art-Gordon empire with typical group dynamics (I never take planets when in a group. You can put a neutral planet next to me and my fleet will go right by to attack the next one)

Counter attack, it attacked the refugee and so I begged a restart since I want my darn frigates!

This second round didn't change much. I think I forgot to move my fleet again?

After coming back from afk I find this. I totally forgot these were on. At least GOrDon started working on them.

Some notes...

GOrDon finally adds to the restart tally (I'm leading 6.5 - 2.5 atm) with a CPA shard attempt.

Finally got it. I restarted because our cloakers blew up and I thought the shard wouldn't make it.

About to continue the game. (:

Also, in the 11th screen(one about me "adding to the tally"), that was me successfully getting the shard!!!!

We failed the first attempt, seems like we don't have a screen of that one.

Do you play the whole game at +10 speed, and do you pause much?  I'm curious how many real hours have gone into this game so far.

Game speed is usually at +5 or so, with +5 network. Also, it seems we have no screenshots of 4 hours in to 7 hours in, so we're missing about 3 in-game hours there. We've probably put about 4-5 real hours into the game.

The save file was deleted in spring cleaning.

So...a new game is in the works.

Yeah...

Nothing interesting first hour. But two sources of exo waves will eventually make things interesting...

Aw man, that sucks., I lost my 10-planet game for similar reasons-I overwrote it with another game on accident.
I can already tell this is going to be a roller coaster ride of disappointment.

Art found the save file in his recycle bin later in the day. :P

Oh good, so are you going to continue this new one he made or the old one?

Art says he feels more confident with our new game, so I assume we will be playing the new one.
