What level is your civilization? What have you done so far?

Anbody else find jade dust to be in short supply? I don't think I've ever found any.

yeah, dust is what I was referring to, but given that each gem vein (of the right colour) provides 20 Mana\Health scrolls I stand by my statement. I mean how rooms does it take to find 20 potions? In retrospect it is clearly horribly unbalanced.

and as to finding jade dust, jade veins spawn in grasslands (as per the tooltip), if your trying to gather dust by scouring rooms your doing it wrong, or at least inefficiently.

Complaints about the underground - especially about how easy it is, relatively - I expect to dissipate as more enemies, especially bosses, are added down there.

29 now. Got countless settlements and unlocked all crafting recipes that are currently in the game. I just killed my first overlord.

Well I'm at level 32 now and there are still some things I haven't done. Like visit the magma flats and the
deep. (The Ocean too but I don't know if diving suits are available yet) Also I'm yet to defeat the overlord who I can't seem to find anywhere. There is probably a couple of things I haven't reached yet. (I heard one of the devs talking about a level 50 place)

Does anyone know if there is to be any survivors in the ocean, lava flat or the deep areas? (It would be pretty neat to discover lizard like fish people in the ocean.....although inviting them back to your settlement could be a problem.) Although I guess they could be able to survive on land too. (but maybe you'd have to build a structure in a settlement before they could join it....like some way of hydrating them.

Just managed to reach level 17 and caving is really fun not really ventured that far before. Really enjoying the game and it definately has that one more turn addictiveness had to reach level 17 before finishing.

Even the buildings are starting to make sense and this was an area I was unsure of when I first started playing.

I'm currently at lv 97 and have a bunch of settlements (14 I think) Plus I just discovered a deciduous forest settlement last night.

So far that's:

Ice Age (Mahbakk, Frosalke, Auburo, Tamelyn, Lodinn, Hazo, Nosteridge, Reisalee)
Desert (Barvebeth)
Grasslands (Ettavale, Starkah)
Evergreen Forest (Lithaven, Dwinington)
Deciduous Forest (Nahuadah'rahn) [Na-who-dah-ran] (Complicated name for complicated powerful magic users :p)

Mahbakk & Lithaven have the biggest populations...and both have libraries. The rest are smallish/just getting by.

Developing quite the landscape so far.

I think I've beaten about 4 overlords too and working on my 5th.

Civ level 129, main settlement rocking 109 settlers. Haven't played in a while though, I've been testing the SotS II 'beta'

Just reached level 74 and I'm half way to 75. Taken out two Overlords and quite a few Lieutenants. So far I have found 4 settlements the first of which I didn't find till level 60ish:

First Settlement 'Settlement Of Muffled Hills' with a population of 20
Second and third settlements are both called 'Settlement Of Difficult Bog' spawned right next to each other in a swamp region and have a combined population of 16
Fourth settlement is again in the swamps and is called 'Settlement Of Pitiless Swampland' with a population of 4

Just started to build up the settlements and have now spotted my third Overlord. He's level 80 so won't be too long before I'm ready for the battle.

Looking forward to reaching level 100 maybe there should be some kind of in game bonuses for reaching certain milestone levels.

Also it would be interesting to see who has reached the highest level since the beta began.

I started a new world when I bought my license key back in early October called "License Key GET!" (I'm frightfully imaginative) and I've been working on it through the numerous updates. Right now, I'm at level 114 and heading to take out the overlord Amunikuna (who resides in a level 120 region). He's built his tower in an Abandoned Small Town, so I plan to raid all of the buildings on the way for EXP Containers and possible bosses.

There is also an Underground Cave, so I will be going down there to take on the various Shadow Bats and Faeries (oh man I hope no Faeries). I haven't really been working on expanding my settlement morale (my spawn settlement is called "Armageddin're") so I don't have many survivors collected. They don't need those farms; They have the Iliari stones to keep them going, so I'm not going to spend time on settlement management until I can work towards training guards.

After I've eradicated Amunikuna, I'm going to go raid every desert region and pile up on Yellow Con. Orbs and then scout like a rhino with a facial tick running on ball bearings; out of control with lots of clicking.

Even though nothing will happen if a town is going without food right now. I don't feel good if I leave them without enough farms.

Plus having every town ticking over food wise means when the update eventually does come with making settlers die when the town runs out of food. I won't need to worry about forgetting a town or looking after a big bunch of towns that are starving.
