What convinced me to buy this game

I was actually on the fence about buying this thing.  I read these forums and watched some youtube vids but I wasn't convinced.  Obviously I wanted to buy, but I didn't think I would enjoy myself.

Until I watched this youtube series:

He's playing one of the beta versions, but watching this guy's expert play, along with with his explanatory and funny commentary made me pull the "buy" trigger.

Maybe someone could use this series to advertise the game, because it's tons better than the trailer or any other vids I've seen, imo.

Technically, the series is advertising for the game, just like any other LP does So....yeah, its working already

LPs are often good for this sort of thing.  I've got many games that I only found through watching LPs of it.

For this game though, it'd be nice to see a more recent LP, since the game has changed so very much since the older beta versions.

......ARE there any that are going yet?   I think this might be an entertaining LP to watch, if there are.   

Considering doing one myself, but not until I'm muuuuuuuuuuuch more familiar with the game.  Much yet to learn.

I know one guy on the forums was doing one, but he's currently dealing with stuff.  I would do one, but the problem is, my computer's CPU can't handle the recording and AVWW at the same time which is slightly annoying. Because it causes a lot of lag and makes the game look really bad. Alas, one day I'll get a good CPU X_X.

Might also search YouTube, I'm sure someone will be doing one soon enough.

I'm going to have a new episode of my LP up soon but before I do is there anything specific people would like to see? I started off working through the tutorial but I feel it may be more benficial to show some actual gameplay.

Also DXTory isn't anywhere near as CPU intensive as Fraps. Try that.

hmm, I've been planning to something like this for AI war, but I'm also concerned my crappy laptop won't be able to handle it very well. Fraps is recording games like Killing Floor very well, but I'm worried I won't be able to handle some of the larger battles for AI war. Perhaps it might be a good idea to try out programs other than Fraps.
