How about if we made craftable spells just disappear when you discard them?  After all, as you say you can just re-craft them.

Yes. This is what I have been thinking of since the start of playing the game since, no offense, but it has always seemed like a very useless feature to have them drop. If you would do that, I think that it would basically completely remove the idea of people wanting any sort of bin since most items would poof now (except Moderate Inner Lights and the Upgrade Enchants, but those are usually kept by players).

No offense taken; the mechanics used to work very differently, and losing a physical fireball object meant you'd have to craft it again with full costs.  So dropping them back then was really important to remember where you put them!

I can think of one thing you would want laying around, limited count abilities, like transfer glyph bearer scrolls, transform into bat scrolls, and traps.

Other than that and the already dropable enchants, yea, nothing really needs to stick around.

Yeah I don't mind them lying around as they can stack so when I pick them up, I know they go into a slot alreayd made, not in a new one. So really, finders, keepers. :P

Also, I have noticed a few of the features are outdated in new mechanics, which is fine as most of them get polished and brought into the "New Age" with the rest of the features eventually. So I just like noting when I feel that an old feature is no longer needed (and with the absorbing enchants implemented, it felt like the only thing missing was the poofing of spells.

But I do sometimes feel guilty about advising people on how things should work in a game they are making, but then again, with AVWW, it feels like a lot of the game is community-driven in a way, as long as it does not affect your main ideas.

First off: oh yes, I forgot about the recent change to make dropped enchants give you something back. That's awesome.

Secondly, this:
