Removing uninstaller from the game folder worked. As for the version of the game it's the one from royal bundle which I believe is identical to the one on your page.

Okay, cool -- that does answer that, it is the same one from our page.  I guess Bitrock installs an uninstaller there, I hadn't counted on that.  Grr. ;)  Simply removing that uninstaller on any game where the updater gives you a problem would handle it fine, I think.
