There are some great things both in .722 and .723, including the new game screen and music.
Although, i have a small nit with the story scroll, now a story blurb on the game level screen. Which makes me think someone, just sort of tossed it in a back closet somewhere and forgot about it.
It feels out of place, like... "What is 'this' doing here?"
If you want the credits to scroll in the front screen that is cool, but to be honest, that feels more like something that should be at the end, like credits to a movie. I'm not saying it has never been done, or even shouldn't be
done, or whatever, just that I think it would look better at the end. Just my biased opinion, sorry if i offend with that.
As to the intro screen, i thought it looked fine on the front page, but if you have to have it somewhere else, what about 'after' you have selected all your choices, like character 'and' mage class are ready to press the button that will flip us into the story? You know how you got that 'new' sunrise screen behind the mage class choice screen? Well... That would be a perfect way to do the intro scroll story blurb...
But instead of nice and fresh sunshine screen, maybe a dark and cloudy storming screen? and have the words in the middle, you don't even have to have them scroll. Just sit there in the middle of the storming screen and then have dot dot dot, like this ... and then flip the player into the intro screen with Daemonica and our Player.
What do you think?
Anyway, I really think the story blurb is important and shouldn't be just sort of shuffled off to the side, like it is now. and should get a prominent place and not cluttered up with controls or choices or other stuff.
Anyway, you don't even have to get Spielberg, or Lucas to animate it, the storm skies you have on stock are perfectly capable and just move the words over from where they are now, and vio' la,
Perfe'ction Superb!
ok, ok, so maybe the academy awards will actully go to Lincoln, or maybe even that Zero Dark Thirty movie, but still, you gotta admit, its better than being hidden away behind some mage class level controls, don'tcha think?

p.s. I know i make silliness and light of this, but it really, really seriously bothers me to have the story scroll sort of just stashed away like that.
