I like the looks of these patch notes. Feeling a lot more like updating and playing. I shouldn't even need my controller for the game anymore.
Perhaps this forum, or somewhere, could use a gigantic disclaimer that says "Hey, most of the game is subject to change".

Quick! Change the Steam Page to only include features in the game for realsiez before people point out the mistakes and you have to "apologize" by saying that players "misread information about game features".

Hmm, what do you mean by "Partial Controller Support", Arcen games? ¬_¬ How can it be only "Partial?". Lying to consumers are we now?! :D

In case you didn't get the reference: this was a joke about The WarZ and how the Steam page lied to people.

It's also a bit of an unintentional joke on Terraria. People bought it after 1.1 based on the idea that the game would be still getting updated. Turns out, only the people involved in the community, like me, knew that it wasn't getting updates anymore. The steam page was promptly updated after lots of complaints and hate, then it all passed and Terraria still sells like hot enough hotcakes that it's getting an awful console port where you move the mouse cursor with the control stick.
But, interesting story nonetheless.

Oh, I thought of Terraria as well when I wrote it. That game had so much potential that I wish he could have just let others develop it instead of leaving it 7 months later...

...speaking of leaving game pages with false information...Arcen Games! Why does A Valley WIthout Wind 1 have "New updates are arriving all the time packed with additional content, improvements, and more."? ;) I knew i'd catch you out eventually, lads!

-sues you for false information-

The other developers outside of Redigit moved on to Starbound. Redigit himself didn't think his programming abilities were up to par and opted to study up so he could make a proper game. Or, at least, that's what he said. Who knows how that turned out?

The store page for Terraria still mentions "Free Content Updates".

And I know about Starbound, but still on the fence if it can be the same as Terraria or a bit too different, you know?

It definitely seems like it's completely it's own game. It seems to be pretty much terraria, while bringing stuff Terraria arguably needed to the table. Better building, procedural enemies, connections between all of your worlds, and all of that.
...And it shouldn't. I remember somebody in a position to change that said it was getting changed. I guess it never did.
