Upgrading Demo to Full in Steam ?

hello,

i downloaded the Demo over steam and played the game in Trial Mode without entering a code. I dont want to redownload the full game (would take 3 hours) so I'm wondering if i can just buy a "upgrade code" to upgrade my Trial to full and keep my character ?!

yes you can. However, Steam will likely list the game as "Demo" still, but it will be unlocked and fully playable. You'll get a key in a mail to unlock it.

Where do i buy a key if not on steam ?

You can buy it on Steam and use that key. Or if you don't want to have it on Steam, you can buy one directly from this website (www.arcengames.com). You don't have to download it to get the key.

Do note though that at present, you cannot redeem a non-Steam key on Steam. It was planned to work, but Valve is being epically slow with all this so if you do buy it from Arcen directly, you might not be able to get it officially on Steam.

For the Record.

I then bought the Indi Pack IV mostly for Valley.
In the game library, my Valley Demo altered to Valley and steam showed me my Key.
I did then start up Valley (not demo) but it was still trial. I entered my key into the corresponding box and the game unlocked to full (internally now, too).
I kept my character and save, and i got all kinds of achievements in steam.
