Turn count seems global
« on: October 09, 2011, 09:57:04 am »
My old world was at turn 43, when the latest patch came out I decided to start a new one. After killing a few bosses i noticed the events were logged under "turn 43" in World Event Log. Also once i reached level 3 i saw that the new world is actually at turn number 43.

I searched the mantis but didn't find it as bug report anywhere. So my question is if that's intended or shall i post it as a bug ?

Turn count is definitely supposed to be per world.

I did some testing and found out that the turn count doesn't get properly unloaded. I found the value in world.dat and fixed the new game i started. After that i did a fresh start of the game and created a new world, the turn count was 1 in the file. Then i started the game again, loaded my very first world which is at turn 43, exited to man menu and created another new world. Looked at the world.dat of that game and the turn count was set to 43.

Going to make a mantis account to report it :)
