So I used a find materials power on a desert...

...with nothing but ball lightning 5 on my loot goals and not a single charred amber showed up.  FTGE

Lol, some spells are definitely a little annoying to level up (WATER SPELLS ARGH).

But other times.....  it's just the RNG screwing with you.   It enjoys it.

I *dont* need charred amber right now.   This of course means I have a mission available that gives me FIVE of it.

What I DO need is Umbra Ember.   Which of course means that I'm finding NONE of it.   Bah.

I'd curse the RNG, but it might get angry and only give me moonstones for the next 30 missions.

Oh the RNG /loves/ us in our current map.

Sure, You want cherries? Well come into the 2 7hp/s windy areas. You want to see the new lava flats? Well there's one. and it's windyer.

Loggers? Whats that? Oh you mean the charcter your controlling *swaps charcter, still can't build, relogs and profession changes*....

It's fun other then how hard it is to get that logger.

I've definitely noticed that the world map can be a bit....... mean...... at times.

Not a bad thing though.   When I'd played before in early beta, the worldmap was damn near pointless....  didn't matter where stuff was in relation to other stuff, or how the world generated and where things were.   NOW it does matter (quite alot actually), and it's bloody awesome.

It's probably worse since the island is a o shape around water, and the settlement spawned next to water on the low side basically minimising the available non windy areas ^^'
