I recommend editing the title of this thread so that the people who aren't obsessive compulsively checking the thread can tell just from the title that they can now.

I open it up in steam after coping le folder into the steam folder (and renaming it so steam would notice and not just redownload the whole thing), and when I open it up to re-update the game, I get bombarded with all the popups for the achievements I forgot I had and I think I broke steam a little when it did so, since all of the popups vanished at the same time instead of vanishing in order.

I would recommend everyone who cares about getting their copy registered with steam register it ASAP, since otherwise people who uses keygen will do it. It did happen to me with AI Wars and I was unable to get AI Wars registered with steam in the end. Hurry up, or you may lose your opportunity.

Same here.  I installed from Steam, then copied over all my files from the previous install - loaded it up, got nothing :(

How'd everyone else get their achievements recognized?

You have to copy the folder over and then rename it 'a valley without wind' (No caps). THats the steam folder name for it.

You could just copy over your settings.dat file, and that should get your achievements as well.  I only got 53.  :'(
