It's actually more embarrassing than I thought: at one point I had it working but sometime since then I switched it around such that it would either send the chat message that the player had disconnected, OR actually process the on-disconnect logic that would mark the account as no longer connected (and thus you could log back in to it).  Good ol' boolean inversion strikes again.

A nice little list of servers. Might be expanded on, but it's not really meant to be a permanent thing, but rather just a nice centralised list of servers until the official one comes into play.
