Pirates and the deep : any way to get rid of them ?

Just asking ... even though at least the pirates tooltip don't give me much chance  ...

I'm currently trying a "destroy gang in building"  in the deep ... boy,  is that hard !
I was mostly breezing through usual missions up to now (been avoiding lava  though ... had bad experiences there !), but this mission (even on normal/normal difficulty!) is HARD !

addon : my issue with pirates is mostly they make any outoor JtP mission impossible in their radius

There is a guardian power that lets you fight and destroy one pirate ship. It is sometimes a mission reward.

That's not actually implemented right now.  There were a few beta versions where the scroll dropped, but it shouldn't have

The way they sit in the overworld map makes me want to go after them and put an end to their piraty ways.

What we need is something like..... I dunno, a special mission you can do where you infiltrate the ship.... it'd be it's own seperate platforming area with dungeon map and everything.....  fight some crazy boss, and then do a Metroid-style escape as the thing starts falling apart. 

This would highly entertain me.

Though whatever is done, I think it should be fairly difficult and require some preparation, otherwise these guys arent much of a threat/presence on the world map.   

The whole idea behind them is pretty cool though.

Oh, wow. I remember finding a few, and have used one to kill off a particularly annoying Pirate Ship. You should bring those back, like, soon!
