Women characters?

Hi,

First off - thanks to Christopher for making something he believes in like your great game A.I. War: Fleet Command 

I played the demo yesterday and bought AVWW today (along the two expansions I was missing for A.I. War  ).

I want to play AVWW with my twin girls someday in multiplayer, but before I even has a chance I need more women characters since its VERY important how you look.... 

So will we see more playable women characters?

Cheers, there will be more women characters, but out of the 36 current character models I think over half already are women.  The disconnect comes in the ice age area, where there's only 2/10 or so that are women.  But if you go to some other time periods, at the moment there are 4/4 that are women, etc -- so it really varies by time period.  Eventually it should be split evenly with each time period, but so far there hasn't been time for that.

But wait... can you die and create a character starting from a civilization in another time period?

Yes, absolutely -- once you meet characters from that time period.  Check in caves for neutral illari sites, or on the surface where there are wind shelters, in the regions in question.  You'll get a message saying the characters from that region have been unlocked for your use.
