Hello everyone, I'm not sure it is proper to make a post just for what I want to say. I don't normally post very often regardless if I love or hate a game. And honestly I have not played AI War, or Tidalis. But I wanted to stop by and say how happy I am to own AVWW. I pretty much only buy and play indie games, it is such a wonderful part of the PC game world. I have purchased many titles at 50$ USD and more and been unhappy or ended up barely playing and never finishing these so called AAA titles.
I remember off and on seeing AVWW on random indie sites, a few screenshots here and there and did not think much of it. When I saw it was on steam, with 104 achievments (my god thank you for that), I watched a few youtube videos and purchased it right away. With around 10 hours played so far, I will say this game is now on my top 10 indie games favorite list. I love platforming games, but in the end they usually don't have much depth. I loved terraria (not so much minecraft) but in the end I don't really enjoy tediously building things. It's like AVWW was the exact type of thing I have been wanting to play. You guys have such a wonderful mixture of all the genres. I love how you can play for 20 minutes and accomplish something, or play all afternoon. I don't really have too many gripes about it, can't think of anything worth mentioning.
Oh and I think it's quite amazing and should be a standard for game design that I really don't need to leave the game and go to a website searching for info. I mean literally everything I want to know is IN THE GAME. Where can I find this item, what do I need to do to unlock something. You really crafted a complete and amazing experience.
tldr; Thanks, I love your game. It's freaking awesome and I am recommending it to everyone.
Oh and if anyone reading this has the game on steam, I would be interested in a coop game. I am not quite sure how the MP works, and honestly a lil scared to join a random server and be the total noob. My steam name is OkcRanger also if anyone is interested.
