Crafting duplicate spellgems
« on: September 26, 2011, 02:03:45 pm »
Is there any benefit to crafting multiple spellgems? I accidentally crafted something that I had already made. Does it make that spell more powerful, or did I just waste my components?

Sorry, there isn't any advantage to this. But, gems are fairly easy to come by.

Also, about every 5 levels or so, you can find higher tiered gems, for example, in in level 5 area, you might find a Jade II instead of a Jade I. The higher tiered gems DO make for more powerfull spells.

It would be really nice if the game would warn you if you were crafting something already in your inventory.

Noted, I'll add that suggestion into Mantis. Thanks for your feedback!

Voted up with extreme prejudice.  That was one of those things that was supposed to be included in the new crafting interface but hasn't quite made it in yet.  It's otherwise in pretty good shape compared to its original form, though.
